Polyviscose Tartan Check Fabric - a practical and versatile woven fabric featuring a traditional tartan check design. Combining the classic appearance of tartan with the durability and easy-care qualities of polyviscose, it's a lovely choice for both clothing and home furnishing projects.

Tartan fabrics have long been popular for dressmaking, bringing colour, pattern and character to garments. This polyviscose tartan is particularly well suited to skirts, pinafores, waistcoats, trousers, dresses and children's clothing. It's also a great choice for costumes, school productions and other projects where a traditional checked fabric is required.

Away from dressmaking, the fabric works equally well for curtains, cushions and decorative soft furnishings. Its hard-wearing construction and machine-washable finish make it a practical option for projects intended for regular use.

The Fabric & Ordering

The fabric is priced per metre.

To order simply add metres to your basket - we will cut as one continuous length. Half metres are available by entering 0.5 (half metre), 1.5 (one and a half metres) etc.

Also available in longer roll lengths of up to 50m by special request.
