A fusible wadding or batting is a type of wadding that has a heat-activated adhesive layer on one side, allowing it to be easily fused to the backing fabric of a quilt or other textile project. Fusible Wadding can be beneficial for several reasons including ease of use, speed (no need for tacking), being easy-care and wash-friendly.
